About Moto Trials — Stunt Bike Racing Game

Moto Trials is a side-scrolling stunt-bike racing game in the spirit of the classic Moto X3M browser series. Each of the eight levels is a short, self-contained obstacle course: you start at one end, and the only goal is to reach the checkered flag — but the clock is running, and the route is laced with ramps, gaps, spinning saw blades, spike beds and explosive barrels. It is equal parts racing line and balance act.

The bike obeys real momentum. On the ground the gas pedal accelerates and the brake slows you or reverses; in the air those same pedals rotate the bike — gas tips the nose forward for a frontflip, brake throws it back for a backflip. Landing a flip is not just for show: every full rotation shaves a full second off your finishing time, so the fastest runs are also the most acrobatic. Over-rotate and land on your head, though, and the rider ragdolls off into the dirt.

Three stars are on offer per level, awarded on time: beat the par for gold, finish a little slower for two, and simply crossing the line earns one. One star unlocks the next level, so you can push forward quickly and come back later to perfect your times. Crashes restart instantly — the whole loop is built around fast, low-friction retries until a level clicks.

Tips & strategy

  • Keep the throttle pinned over the small rolling hills — momentum is everything, and a slow approach to a ramp means a short, dangerous jump.
  • In the air, watch your landing angle. Aim to touch down with the bike roughly parallel to the slope you're landing on; a nose-down or wheelie landing on a downslope is where most crashes happen.
  • Backflips (brake in the air) are usually safer than frontflips because they keep the nose up for the landing — and each flip is −1 second.
  • Only go for a flip when you have the height. Half a rotation that lands on the rider's head is an instant crash, no matter how fast you were going.
  • Saws, spikes and barrels sit in the gaps you jump. Carry enough speed off the ramp to clear them — the clean, fast line flies right over every hazard.
  • If you mistime a jump, it's faster to crash on purpose (drive into the pit) and retry than to limp through — restarts are instant.
  • Chasing 3 stars? Shave time by flipping on the big jumps and never letting go of the gas on the flat sections between obstacles.

Frequently asked questions

How do I do a backflip?

Get airborne off a ramp, then hold the brake (left pedal / ← / A). The bike rotates backwards. Hold gas instead to frontflip. Land a full rotation and you get a −1 second time bonus.

How are stars awarded?

By your finish time after flip bonuses. Beat the level's par time for 3 stars, finish within about 1.4× par for 2, and just reaching the flag earns 1 star.

Why is the next level locked?

You unlock the next level by earning at least one star on the current one — i.e. by reaching the flag. You don't need to 3-star a level to progress.

What kills me?

Landing on the rider's head (over-rotating or a bad landing angle), or touching a saw blade, spike bed or explosive barrel. The bike itself can take rough landings as long as the rider stays upright.

Is there a way to restart quickly?

Yes — press R on desktop, or use the Retry button after a crash. Crashes auto-show a retry prompt, and restarts are instant so you can grind a tricky level.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Two large pedals sit in the bottom corners: green (▶) to accelerate, red (◀) to brake. Hold them; in the air they lean the bike. The page scrolls normally over the game until you pick a level.
