About Flow Connect — Connect the Dots Pipe Puzzle Online
Flow Connect is a calm, satisfying logic puzzle about drawing pipes. Each grid holds several pairs of coloured dots, and your job is to connect every pair with a single coloured pipe. The catch is twofold: pipes are not allowed to cross each other, and when you are done every single cell of the grid must be covered. A puzzle is only solved when both rules are met at the same time.
What feels easy at first quickly becomes a real test of planning. Connecting two dots by the shortest route is simple, but that route often blocks another pair or leaves empty cells you can never reach. The real skill is reading the whole board, spotting which pipes are forced into the corners and edges, and saving the flexible colours for last. Every level is generated fresh, so you are always solving a new layout.
Flow Connect runs free in your browser on wugames.io with no download and no account. It is built for touch first — just press a coloured dot and drag to its twin. Levels grow from a gentle 5×5 grid up to a dense 9×9, and your progress is saved automatically, so you can close the tab and pick up exactly where you left off.
Tips & Strategy
Remember the win needs two things at once: every pair connected and every cell filled. A board full of connected pairs with gaps is not solved.
Start with the dots in the corners and along the edges — they have the fewest possible routes, so their pipes are the most forced.
If a single empty cell is surrounded on three sides, the pipe passing through it is already decided. Lay those forced pipes first.
Leave the colours whose dots are close together for last; short pipes are flexible and easy to reroute around the long ones.
Drawing over another pipe erases the part you crossed. Use that on purpose to reclaim cells, but watch what you destroy.
If you feel stuck, hit the clear button and rebuild — a fresh look often reveals a route you forced yourself out of.
Count empty cells as you go. If a region of empty cells cannot be reached by any pipe, you need to reroute before filling the rest.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you play Flow Connect?
Press a coloured dot and drag to the matching dot of the same colour to draw a pipe. Connect every pair of dots and make sure every cell in the grid is covered, without letting pipes cross.
When is a level solved?
A level is complete only when all colour pairs are connected and every single cell of the grid is filled by a pipe. Connecting the pairs alone is not enough if empty cells remain.
Can pipes cross each other?
No. Pipes never cross. If you drag a pipe over another colour's pipe, the part of that pipe you crossed is erased so it can be redrawn elsewhere.
Are the puzzles always solvable?
Yes. Every level is generated from a path that already covers the whole grid, then split into colour pairs — so a complete solution is always guaranteed to exist.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your current level and the pipes you have drawn are stored in your browser, so you can close the tab and continue later on the same device.
Do the puzzles get harder?
Yes. Levels start on a 5×5 grid with four colours and grow to a 9×9 grid with up to twelve colours, demanding more planning at every step.
Is Flow Connect free to play?
Yes, Flow Connect is completely free on wugames.io. There is no download, no account and no install — it loads instantly in your browser.
