About Pinball — Classic Arcade Flipper Table Game Online
Pinball brings the timeless arcade table to your browser — the same flippers-and-bumpers classic that kept people glued to their PCs for decades. A steel ball rattles around a tilted table, and your only job is to keep it in play and rack up as big a score as you can. No download, no sign-up, free on phone or desktop.
Pull back the plunger to launch the ball onto the table, then work the two flippers at the bottom to bat it back up. Smack the round pop bumpers and the springy slingshots to score — and the more you hit without draining, the higher your score multiplier climbs. Every flick of a flipper is a small act of timing and aim.
You get three balls. A ball is lost when it slips past your flippers and drains down the centre, and when all three are gone the game is over. The skill is in never letting that happen — catching the ball, steadying it, and firing it back into the bumpers. Your best score is saved in your browser so you always have a target to beat.
Tips & strategy
Don't mash the flippers. Flailing wildly sends the ball anywhere — wait until it is almost on the flipper, then flick.
Catch the ball. Hold a flipper up as the ball lands on it; the ball settles, and you can release to drop it onto the other flipper or flick a clean shot.
Mind the centre. Most balls drain straight down the middle — nudge the ball toward a flipper rather than letting it roll into the gap.
Chase the multiplier. Every bumper and slingshot hit builds your multiplier; a long run without draining is worth far more than a lucky single shot.
Vary your plunger. Hold longer for a harder launch — different launch strengths send the ball on different first paths through the table.
Aim, don't just bounce. A flipped ball flies off in the direction the flipper is pointing — time the flick so the ball heads back up into the bumper cluster.
Stay calm after a save. Right after a big save the ball is fast and wild; let it lose a little speed before you commit to the next flip.
Frequently asked questions
How do you play Pinball?
Launch the ball with the plunger, then use the two flippers to keep it from draining off the bottom of the table. Hit the bumpers and slingshots to score points. You have three balls.
How do I launch the ball?
When a ball is waiting in the lane, hold down to charge the plunger and release to fire it onto the table. A longer hold launches the ball harder.
How do the flippers work?
On a keyboard, the left and right arrow keys (or A and D) control the two flippers. On a touch screen, tap the left half for the left flipper and the right half for the right flipper.
How does scoring work?
Pop bumpers are worth 100 points and slingshots 60. A multiplier rises as you keep hitting things without losing the ball, so a clean run multiplies every point you score.
How many balls do I get?
Three. You lose a ball each time it drains past the flippers, and the game ends once all three are gone. Your multiplier resets with each lost ball.
Can I play Pinball on mobile?
Yes. The table is built for portrait phone screens — hold anywhere to charge the launch, then tap the left and right sides to flip. No app or install is needed.
Is my high score saved?
Yes. Your best score is stored in your browser, so it is there waiting the next time you play.
